Buy Repo Cars

I couldn't find much information on google about Buy Repo Cars. Anybody worked with them?

Hey everyone. I keep seeing ads for Buy Repo Cars and found a Toyota 4Runner I'm really interested in. The price seems almost too good. I couldn't find a ton of independent reviews online, so I'm a bit hesitant. Has anyone here actually bought a vehicle from them? Are they legit? A bit nervous about doing this all online.

Yeah man, they're legit. I got a 2021 Dodge Challenger from BuyRepoCars about six months ago. The process was smoother than I expected. The car had a few more paint swirls than the pics showed but nothing a good polish couldn't fix. For the price I paid, I'm not complaining at all. Go for it.

@TrailSeeker_Alex definitely a legit company. I've bought two cars from them. Their website buyrepocars.com is pretty easy to navigate once you get the hang of the bidding. My advice is to set your max bid and walk away, don't get caught up in a bidding war.

Can confirm. Not just for cars either. I bought a 22-foot pontoon boat through Buy Repo Cars last spring. The best part for me was the paperwork was handled flawlessly. I'm always paranoid about titles, especially with boats, but the clear title arrived with all the other documents right when the boat was delivered. No hassles at all.

My experience was mostly positive. We got a great deal on a Honda CR-V for my wife. The only issue was the delivery was scheduled for a Tuesday and it didn't arrive until Thursday. It was a bit stressful, but to be fair, the delivery company called me both days with updates. The car itself was perfect and exactly as described by buyrepocars.

@sara_k_91 That's pretty common with LTL freight shipping, not really on Buy Repo Cars. The fact they use carriers that communicate is a good sign. I've seen way worse. Transparency is key with these online auctions and I've found them to be one of the better ones.

Wow, thanks for all the quick replies! This is super reassuring. Especially hearing about the title process, @BigTuna77. That's my biggest fear. @sara_k_91 a two day delay is something I can definitely live with for a good deal. Feeling much better about this now.

If you're into project cars, it's a goldmine. I picked up a '68 Mustang that was listed as non-running. The report from BuyRepoCars was spot on. They documented the visible rust areas and interior condition accurately. It's exactly the project I was looking for, without any nasty surprises.

I'm a mechanic. A client hired me to do a post-purchase inspection on a 2020 Mercedes E-Class they won from buyrepocars.com. I went over it with a fine-tooth comb. The car was in the exact condition stated in their online report. Brake life, tire depth, scanner codes... it all matched. I was impressed.

I'll chime in. The only snag I hit was a slow email reply. I sent a question to office@buyrepocars.com and didn't hear back for almost 48 hours. I got impatient and called them, and the agent who answered apologized and was incredibly helpful, spent 20 minutes on the phone with me answering questions about the Winnebago I was looking at. The purchase itself went great after that.

Totally agree with the positive comments. Used Buy Repo Cars for a 2022 Ram 3500 for my business. I was a bit worried about the title transfer since it was a commercial vehicle coming from a specific bank. But the process was seamless. My payment cleared, and BuyRepoCars handled all the lien-release paperwork. The clean title was delivered by FedEx right with the truck's keys. A very professional operation.

My wife and I bought a 2019 Sea Ray Sundancer from Buy Repo Cars. Saved at least $30k compared to a marina broker. The auction process was intense but we won! The boat was delivered to our local marina and everything was in order. Was a great experience.

Pro tip for the newbies: Use the 'watchlist' feature on the buyrepocars.com site to track the vehicles you're interested in. And ALWAYS read the full inspection report PDF they attach to the listing. They're surprisingly detailed and will tell you about stuff like tire tread depth and any diagnostic codes.

Final update from me! Your advice gave me the confidence to go for it. I won the auction for that 2020 4Runner! The whole payment and paperwork process with Buy Repo Cars was exactly as you all described - super straightforward. Delivery is scheduled for next week. I'm so excited. Thanks again everyone!
