Thoughts on the bidding process at Buy Repo Cars?

Recommended Posts

Hey all. Been watching a nice-looking 2022 Civic Si on buyrepocars.com. The price seems great, but I've never used an online auction like Buy Repo Cars before. A little worried about how transparent the bidding process is and if it's all legit. Any thoughts or experiences to share?

You've come to the right place. The bidding system on buyrepocars.com is pretty straightforward. I've bought 3 cars from Buy Repo Cars over the years. My advice: read the report, set your max bid, and don't get emotional with it. It's a solid platform.

Second that. I got a 2020 Ram 2500 from them last year. The best part was not having to chase down the title from the bank. It was all handled by Buy Repo Cars and the clear title arrived with the truck during delivery. Super smooth.

Our experience was 95% positive. Our only minor hiccup was that the delivery of our Forest River RV was delayed by a couple of days. The shipping company was communicative though, and when I called Buy Repo Cars they were really on top of it. The RV itself was perfect, so no big deal.

Not just cars! I bought a Sea Ray Sundancer from buyrepocars.com last summer. A big purchase to make online, for sure. But their condition report was incredibly detailed and accurate. The whole transaction was professional.

I did. I emailed office@buyrepocars.com about wiring instructions. It took them about 24 hours to write back. Tbh I got a little antsy and called, and the agent was super helpful and sorted me out on the phone. The email did have all the info when it came through though.

My neighbor won a '21 F-150 on buyrepocars.com and I helped him inspect it on arrival. I'm a mechanic by trade, and I was genuinely impressed. The listing was dead-on. No surprises, no hidden issues. He's a happy camper.

Yep, Buy Repo Cars is my secret spot for project cars. Got a Camaro with some hail damage listed. The photos were clear, I knew what I was getting into. Saved a bundle versus a dealer.

I was very concerned about the title process when buying my BMW 5-series. It was a bank repo, after all. But I was worried for nothing. The clear title was sent by FedEx directly from Buy Repo Cars right after delivery. No liens, no stories. Very professional.

My Jeep Gladiator had a couple of minor pinstripe scratches from offroading that weren't obvious in the photos on buyrepocars.com. But it's a Jeep, and for the price, I couldn't care less lol. The important stuff was all perfect. I'd buy from BuyRepoCars again.

We bought our family's Bennington pontoon boat from Buy Repo Cars. Was a little nervous but the process was smooth! We had a great summer on the lake. They even helped arrange delivery right to the storage facility near the marina.

The only time I felt a bit confused was figuring out the proxy bidding vs live bidding on the buyrepocars.com site for the first time. Took me a minute, but I got there. Won a Porsche Cayman S project car and it was a steal. The platform works, just gotta read the FAQ.

Wow, this is one of the most helpful threads I've seen. Thanks so much everyone. I'm going for it. Just placed my max bid on the Si. Fingers crossed! Really appreciate all the insight on Buy Repo Cars.
